The Digital Lab Omnichannel Strategy Manager (G18) will lead and drive programs (projects and initiatives) to meet objectives for US Commercial or Medical Affairs. Effectively provide guidance and enhance omnichannel activities through aligning, training, supervising, administrating, coaching, and program/project/metric tracking. Independently coach and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Brand Teams and Scientific Directors in driving implementation for new and existing programs.

The Digital Lab Omnichannel Strategy Manager (G18) will lead and drive programs (projects and initiatives) to meet objectives for US Commercial or Medical Affairs. Effectively provide guidance and enhance omnichannel activities through aligning, training, supervising, administrating, coaching, and program/project/metric tracking. Independently coach and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Brand Teams and Scientific Directors in driving implementation for new and existing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to program manage the activation of omnichannel and digital marketing strategies aligned to the strategic imperatives of the Integrated Brand Team (IBT).
- Strategically Lead and Program Manage cross-functional working teams to drive omnichannel marketing aligned to the overarching blueprints of the brand. Key teams like Brand Pods and/or Innovation Pods.
- Program/Project Communication: Responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of highly complex digital projects including, developing project plans, creating status reports, following up/communicating with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution of projects/programs. Makes recommendations based on current program/project status to resolve issues and manage risks. Conducts quarterly business reviews with Therapeutic Areas and Digital Lab leadership.
- Initiate and Plan Program/Project: Works with medical affairs partners to establish and gain consensus on program goals, objectives, and deliverables. Responsible for building the plans and resource needs to accomplish business objectives. Lead and resolve issues or concerns during the project lifecycle. Proactively identify issues, identify root cause, and recommend corrective actions.
- Program/Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the program working with the TA lead and business partners to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the program is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
- Executing and Closing Program/Project: Lead program/project teams in developing and executing a program plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to ensure all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final program approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
- Support overall Digital Lab Engagement to Brand and Medical Affairs + Health Impact (MHI) leadership, ensuring that Digital Lab efforts are aligned to brand priorities and executed to ultimately exceed the expectations of our colleagues.
- Supports the application of Strategic Lab Capabilities into the Brand, pursuant to the vision aligned at the BU and Franchise levels.
- Supports representing the Digital Lab and digital transformation vision in Brand-level venues like extended IBTs and Brand Staff.
- Supports Digital Lab Business Reviews/Updates to Brand and MHI Leadership.
- Supports serving as brand/TA steward to the rest of the Digital Lab, providing deep brand strategy knowledge, expertise, and leadership.
- Supports Brand perspective within Digital Lab Execution & Operations Reviews Updates for cross-Lab alignment.
- Executes aligned and coordinated priorities cross-functional partners dedicated to that brand (e.g., MABI, BTS, Performance Operations, etc.).
- Drives key AbbVie Digital Transformation imperatives within the brand.

Qualifications
- Account Management skills. The ability to represent and lead multiple teams within a broad digital marketing center of excellence.
- Communication skills. The ability to convey simple and effective stories around strategies, tactics, results, and data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interfacing more with Brand Managers and AD's day-to-day, and laddering up to Brand Leaders (AD's and Directors) as needed.
- Program Management skills. The ability to oversee and drive a portfolio of projects and initiatives across multiple functions. Able to prioritize and gracefully manage competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met. Collaborative nature and ability to influence and guide cross-functional stakeholders without authority.
- Strong project management abilities and critical work tool experience. E.g., Excel, Visio, MS Project, SmartSheets, PowerPoint.
- Core Marketing skills. The ability to understand brand strategies and tactical plans. Acumen for how digital agencies operate: scope of work process / management, timelines.
- Digital Marketing skills. Demonstrated experience with digital / multichannel / omnichannel marketing, including: websites, email, social media, mobile media, search, display, etc. Including measurement and optimization of these programs and tactics.
- Preferably within Pharma, agency, or brand.
- BA/BS in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred. Or comparable experience with other degrees. 5-7+ years of experience preferred.

- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
