Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative HR strategies that directly support the organization's goals and contribute to its mission of delivering quality healthcare. Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all HR-related matters, including workforce planning, culture, and change management.
- Talent Management: Lead efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top talent, building a strong employer brand and ensuring our organization remains competitive in the healthcare industry. Oversee performance management programs that drive employee development and align individual goals with organizational objectives. Develop succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Cultivate a positive and productive work environment by driving employee engagement through effective communication, recognition programs, and initiatives that enhance workplace satisfaction. Champion our organization's values, ensuring they are embedded in all policies, practices, and interactions.
- HR Operations and Compliance: Oversee all HR operations, including benefits, talent acquisition, and HRIS systems, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
- Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Regularly evaluate compensation practices to ensure equity and alignment with industry standards. Strong knowledge of self-insurance and the ability to enhance utilization is highly desired. Communicate benefits offerings effectively to employees.
- Organizational Development: Lead training and development programs to enhance leadership capabilities and employee skills. Support initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including leadership development, performance management, and process improvement. Conduct workforce analytics to guide decision-making and track key HR metrics.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management/leadership role. Experience in the healthcare or medical services industry is strongly preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proven ability to align HR strategy with business objectives. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to healthcare organizations. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing collaborative, high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Preferred Certifications: SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional).
