In this position...
  • In this position, you will be an integral member of the Super Duty Program Finance team. You will have the opportunity to leverage your financial skills to influence program decisions.
  • You will be the financial lead and interface on Team of Four's (To4 -- Purchasing, Engineering, Finance and Cost Estimating) across multiple commodities and are expected to drive the delivery of their Material Cost, Vendor Tooling and ED&T targets. You work closely with Systems Engineering Team (SET) leaders to help achieve Commodity metrics.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for running, analyzing, and presenting IRR Model results to evaluate business cases, as required. Your ability to effectively present and articulate financial results to To4, program teams and Finance leaders will be essential in this position.


Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Reduce Material Cost for your assigned commodities
  • Track program Material Cost, Vendor Tooling and ED&T financial status vs. target
  • Report financial status to Finance and Program Management
  • Support SET leaders
  • Reconcile commodity material costs from Workshops to FEDEBOM
  • Approve Change Management Forms (CMF) in FEDEBOM material cost system
  • Support Program Financial milestone reporting (VPD, Gemba, GPRM, P&T, GP&SD) as required
  • Business Partnering - Build effective relationships with operating team members (To4, Program Team) and develop analysis that supports informed decision-making
  • Drive Innovation / Flexibility - Continually test effectiveness of current processes amidst evolving company priorities and modify as necessary


Qualifications

You'll have...
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance
  • Previous PD experience preferred, but not required
  • Innovative Mindset / Strategic Thinking Analytical Skills - Ability to collect and quickly analyze data
  • Teamwork - Superior collaborator, capable of leveraging thought leaders within Product Development as well as building cross-functional relationships across the PD Finance Program Teams
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills; ability to influence
  • Must be proficient in Excel, with knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and other advanced Excel functions

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8 .
