The base pay range for this position is
$115,107.20-$185,640.00 Annual
however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Title: Director of Patient Financial Services

Position Overview:

The department director is responsible for overseeing and leading a departmental team to achieve both departmental and organizational goals and objectives. The department director plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the departmental team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services and completion of projects.

A Day in the Life:
  • Provide leadership and direction to department team members.
  • Educates, develops, and assists staff to ensure performance and productivity standards are met.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the department and organization.
  • Develops, recommends, and administers company policies and procedures related to patient financial services department functions.
  • Implement and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of departmental projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Meet performance goals to including, patient satisfaction, cash, A/R days and production by area.
  • Prepares written goals and objectives for departmental activities and translates these into successful plans of action for self and the staff.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenditures.
  • Manage staff scheduling and payroll functions.


About You!

This Job is For You if You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
  • Five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in the field of healthcare, and Revenue Cycle in a highly automated environment.
  • Proven experience in leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster innovation.

  • Accreditation/certification in patient account management.
