Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in surveying within a civil firm. This role primarily involves office work with occasional fieldwork to support the field team's daily schedules. The Survey Technician will utilize data collected from the field to create cutsheets and layout plans for engineers to proceed with their designs.
Responsibilities
Our team primarily focuses on Residential Communities and Commercial projects at various phases. We have 36 team members divided into 4 teams to support different project types. The office environment is flexible with hybrid work options available after the first 90 days. We encourage continuous skill enhancement through monthly training sessions. The pace is fast, and individuals who are inquisitive and focused tend to thrive here. We offer 3 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in surveying within a civil firm. This role primarily involves office work with occasional fieldwork to support the field team's daily schedules. The Survey Technician will utilize data collected from the field to create cutsheets and layout plans for engineers to proceed with their designs.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of cutsheets, wallchecks, finals, as-builts, boundaries, topos, and field stakeout, primarily for new construction on large parcels of land.
- Assist the field coordinator in preparing work for crews.
- Assist in scheduling field crews based on workload needs.
- Perform field survey duties as required in the absence of field personnel.
- Participate in at least one continuing education class in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
- 2+ years of surveying experience for a civil firm.
- Experience as a Survey Technician in a CAD-based role.
- Proficiency in Carlson Drafting software and/or AutoCAD.
- Experience in both field surveying and engineering design.
- Proficiency in topographic and boundary survey software.
- Ability to read blueprint and contract documentation.
- Experience with ALTA, Topographic surveys, and GPS data collection.
