The Property Loss Administrator role at Raytheon is essential for ensuring compliance with contractual requirements regarding customer property management. This role involves closely working with various internal Raytheon contacts and Customer representatives to report on property that is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed. Key responsibilities include administering and maintaining aspects of the Property Management System, particularly in relation to the relief of stewardship outcome.

Day-to-day activities for this role are dynamic and varied, as the Property Loss Administrator will handle multiple cases simultaneously, each at different stages of the process. This requires pulling information from various resources, thus necessitating exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage the workload and meet compliance standards.

What You Will Do
  • Performing research of property and system records
  • Interviewing key personnel
  • Heavy technical writing/editing
  • Documenting the investigation details
  • Submitting and tracking loss case progress
  • Working with the Government/Customer to answer their investigation follow-up questions
  • Updating the system of record at multiple stages
  • Capturing audit-ready documentation in the appropriate repository throughout the entire process


  • Work independently to resolve problems of moderate complexity by interpreting policies and procedures and by developing solutions of moderate scope and impact.
  • The role will collaborate with other personnel within Property Management, Site Execution, Contracts, Customers (internal and external), Program Management, Operations, Production Control, Logistics, Inventory Control, Mission Assurance, and other POCs as needed to gather loss investigation details, document the case information, and to answer follow-up questions from the Government/Customer.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with Property Management, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within two years of employment.
  • Well-developed communication skills (both oral and written) to ensure effective collaboration with Property, Logistics, Procurement, Production Control, Contracts, Programs, and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lead projects and meetings with internal and external customers.
  • Attention to detail to monitor and update records and case documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Efficient at maintaining and organizing digital files and documents that are properly labeled and easily retrievable.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience working with DCMA and/or Government Customer Representatives.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
