Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney specializing in Personal Injury cases. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation from discovery to trial, representing clients who have suffered injuries due to accidents, negligence, and other tortious conduct. This position requires a strong advocate for plaintiffs with a passion for achieving justice and fair compensation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury cases at all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation, trial, and appeals.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with attention to detail.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare and conduct depositions of witnesses and expert witnesses to build case credibility.
• Present cases in court, delivering compelling arguments and examining witnesses during trial.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and keep them informed throughout the legal process.
• Stay current on personal injury laws and regulations, as well as case law developments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree
• Licensed with the Illinois Bar Association
• 3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Strong understanding of trial procedures and litigation processes
• Experience conducting depositions and representing clients in mediations and arbitrations
• Proven track record with various types of personal injury claims, including auto accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Pay/Benefits
