Amazon Fresh Private Brands exists to deliver products that our customers can't live without, in service to our broader Grocery vision of being customers' most loved grocer. AFPB is doing this by delivering delicious quality and great value food products to our customers under our Amazon brands.

We are looking for a Global Insights Principal to lead our global insights program across US and EU. This role is key to AFPB being able to foresee, answer and solve customer-backwards the key strategic questions that will shape PB over the next 3+ years.

Key job responsibilities

- Answering customer-backwards the key strategic questions that will shape AFPB over the next 1-3 years: owning end-to-end from defining the problem statement, identifying and running research, writing and aligning on recommendations, mobilizing cross-functional teams and resources to solve these.

- Acting as a conduit to broader Amazon Fresh insights and category teams: ensuring that AFPB is scalably harnessing broader insights tools, metrics, and is appropriately baked into broader insights research programs.

- Scalably integrating customer insights into our AFPB operating model: identifying the critical gaps we have today and mobilizing our AFPB functional teams/ BIE support to deliver.

- Acting as a thought partner to AFPB and Amazon Fresh leadership and leading customer insights for our global organization.

About the team

AFPB is a global organization across US and EU. We sit within the broader Amazon Fresh organization and own the private brand food and beverages offering for Amazon Fresh (physical stores and online) and Core (.com, .co.uk etc).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with various types of research methodologies is key, including quant, qual, 1P & 3P data, trend analysis & forecasting, etc.

- Experience communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

- Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision making among stakeholders with competing goals

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
