Mortgage Loan Servicing Department Manager

Position Summary

A mortgage servicing department manager manages the day-to-day activities of the mortgage servicing department to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing. Ensuring procedures comply with federal and state regulations. Setting the strategic direction for the department and implementing necessary changes based on industry trends and regulations. Training, coaching, and mentoring staff to maintain high-quality member service.

Qualifications/Experience

• At least three years of related experience in loan servicing.
• Thorough knowledge of loan servicing functions.
• Basic understanding of credit union lending operations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel and intermediate use of Word for publishing and creating form templates.
• Familiarity with mortgage terminology, payoff demand processing, and related documentation.
• Able to research, interpret and implement applicable regulatory compliance.
• Advanced organizational and multitasking abilities to manage high-volume task efficiently.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly, both verbally and electronically, with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Ability to plan, develop, and implement curriculum.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication ability.

Salary Range

• Minimum - $82,910
• Maximum - $132,655
