Intel seeks highly qualified candidates to join our Next Cloud Connectivity Group. Join the Network and Edge Group (NEX) to plan, develop and sell infrastructure acceleration solutions using Infrastructure Processing Units (IPU) in the Cloud, Telco and Enterprise market segments
The Firmware Architect will be responsible for:
Definition, design, implementation and release of software and firmware products for the Intel family of Digital Radio ICs. This includes, and is not limited to, run-time firmware, platform software, develop tools and customer APIs.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below.
- Experience in project management with organizational skills and a track record for delivering a set of objectives on schedule and within budget.
- Must be a team player, with a demonstrated experience technically influencing others.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of work experience OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of work experience.
-9+ years of experience in the following:
o Intel Firmware Architecture
o Firmware architecture, design and implementation for digital radio and signal processing on complex SoCs
o Experience leading development and validation execution teams.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

$52,000.00-$200,000.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
