Seller University is Amazon's global seller education program that supports aspiring and current sellers grow their business on Amazon. Our Learning & Development team is comprised of expert learning experience designers, technical writers, strategists and program managers that design robust educational content plans.

We are hiring an experienced Learning Experience Designer to produce top quality learning design plans and deliver content for topics related to selling on Amazon. In this position, you will research seller pain points and engage internal subject matter experts to take content from initial learning design through to final content (video, PDF, eLearning). You will collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure content is understandable, consumable, high quality, and effective.

The successful candidate has extensive research, project management, and adult education experience. You have a portfolio of education examples and are comfortable writing content from source materials. You can effectively prioritize competing projects, making trade-offs between depth and completeness as needed. You have experience working with clients or internal partners to move projects forward and remove roadblocks while maintaining a high level of professional communication. You are a critical thinker who steps into your audience's shoes to make content engaging and easy to follow. You have an iterative mindset and bring new ideas to the table to improve content quality and internal workflows.

Key job responsibilities

* Collaborate across global teams to proactively deliver best in class educational content strategy

* Produce learning design plans that include content in different formats for different channels

* Devise content strategy for new learning pathways and topics based on research, content gaps, and existing content performance

* Proactively anticipate seller needs, investigate underlying issues, and create short and long-term education solutions

* Research seller pain points using qualitative data (seller anecdotes, video comments, internal UX studies) and quantitative data (existing content impression, engagement, and satisfaction data) to inform content design

* Manage multiple content projects at once using project management tools and internal prioritization mechanisms

* Work in tandem with our writing team to peer review educational content against our guidelines

* Coordinate deliverables such as source material and script feedback from internal subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues

* Strong commitment towards goals and outcomes to ensure completion within established time frames

* Propose content experiments and internal workflow improvements to improve efficiency and quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

- 3+ years of education design or training experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
