Job Summary
The Sybase L3 Support Engineer will leverage their expertise in Sybase SQL and stored procedures to provide advanced support and troubleshooting. This role requires knowledge of job scheduling tools, Unix Shell Scripting, and strong debugging, analytical, and logical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for Sybase SQL and stored procedures.
- Utilize job scheduling tools, preferably Autosys, and understand JIL definitions and job attributes.
- Apply Unix Shell Scripting knowledge to support tasks.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Analyze and solve complex problems with strong analytical and logical abilities.
Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Sybase SQL and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools, preferably Autosys, with an understanding of JIL definitions and job attributes.
- Unix Shell Scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Excellent analytical and logical abilities.
