Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the social services necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Supervise therapy services, case management, education, and discharge planning.
  • Provide guidance and supervision of other social works, therapists, and interns.
  • All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, PAM Health policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.


Qualifications

  • Must be a LMSW or LCSW in the state in which the hospital resides.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Crisis management certifications per hospital policy and standards required.
  • 3-5 years clinical experience and 2-3 years in an appropriate supervisory role.
