Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field and 10 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment as an Engineer or related; OR Master's or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field and 8 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment as an Engineer or related.
Experience must include:
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. Supervise the work of other employees (Electrical Engineers).

Group Managers Battery Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and supervise multiple world class Battery Systems Labs to support new product development, technology evaluations, warranty investigations, and Product Support functions.
- Build organizational capacity within the battery systems teams.
- Lead and manage resources (facility, personnel, and equipment) across all Battery Systems Labs - batteries, chargers, cells, and electronics.
- Drive Global alignment on all testing - WIs, SoPs, hardware alignment, environmental control, training across all labs executing Battery Systems testing.
- Define and drive project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables and monitor progress to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities in battery systems and provide strategic guidance to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancement within battery systems labs.
- Lead with a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in the lab operations.
- Foster collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders, including R&D teams, product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Cultivate partnerships with external organizations, research institutions, and industry experts to drive innovation and knowledge exchange.
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field and 10 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment as an Engineer or related; OR Master's or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field and 8 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment as an Engineer or related.
Experience must include:
- Cell testers (Arbin, Maccor, power supplies, or designing and testing with custom testing equipment)
- Battery systems (testing and training)
- Leading and managing projects
- Process improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancement within battery systems labs
- WIs, SoPs, hardware alignment, and environmental control
- Implementing lab safety standards (ISO9001, IEC17025, and UL CTDP)
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. Supervise the work of other employees (Electrical Engineers).
