Job Summary
The Associate Director of Paid Search serves as a lead strategic voice and coach for the search engine marketing (SEM) media team and practice at Moroch on specific enterprise accounts. This role will develop, implement, and integrate SEM and Google advertising best practices into our holistic media planning and activation on key enterprise clients, along with evolving the pay-per-click practice and processes. The Associate Director will also help steer the agency's relationships with key contacts across Google, Bing, and other pay-per-click vendors.

The Associate Director will also help steer the agency's relationships with key contacts across Google, Bing, and other pay-per-click vendors.
Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead a team of SEM Managers and Specialists across one or more enterprise accounts within the SEM team.
- Evangelize the role of SEM and other Google advertising products, integrating and aligning digital media efforts with business strategy and growth.
- Ensure team has the appropriate training and visibility required to keep up with technology and industry updates.
- Mentor the team in translating strategy and learnings into real-world practices and applications citing specific results.
- Manage regular stream of knowledge-sharing in the form of internal newsletters, POVs and blog posts.
Plan Development and Maintenance:
- Successfully manage multiple internal and external initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Formulate SEM strategies for clients in a way that is consistent with the strategy, creative, and results-oriented in order to drive competitive business results.
- Can seamlessly navigate between digital media strategy, platform and execution.
- Ability to delegate efficiently and manage teams within your assigned account(s) in the development and execution of effective plans, reporting and insights for clients.
Discipline Management & Vision:
- Provides stewardship and advising on SEM and Google Ad matters for specific key accounts. Act as the trusted advisor relied upon for objective views.
- Oversee the work of partner agencies while tracking and embedding work and learnings from industry groups.
- Foster key relationships with platform contacts to uncover best practices and new opportunities for Moroch and its clients
- Uncover new business opportunities for Moroch and participate in new business pitches
- Relay information related to opportunities and risks to our senior management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience required; PR, Advertising or Marketing experience, including social media experience and writing experience
- Mastery of Paid Search platforms
- Candidates with SEO, Google Business Profile and CRO experience preferred
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communications and presentation skills
- Proven track record when it comes to accountability and meeting deadlines
- Skilled in planning and leading meetings that are productive and action/solution oriented
- Ability to develop ideas, collect data, and establish facts via simplified written and verbal recaps
