Description:
As the General Manager for Paul Davis Restoration, this employee is responsible for the management, operation and business development of the entire company. This would include all jobs that are run through the franchise as well as the growth and overall profitability of the company.
Reports to: President
Office Location: Portsmouth, NH
Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm.
Employee will have direct oversight and control over all business operations. This will include, but will not be limited to:
Professionally represent the PDR brand and its' basic principles of honesty and integrity
Coordinate and discuss financial/operational matters on a regular basis with the appropriate leadership
Oversight of all day to day operations of PDR of Boston North, Southern NH & ME franchise
Profit and Loss of the franchise
Assist in management of Accounting functions including AR and AP with assistance from CFO and global accounting team.
Oversight of any Division Managers, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Field Technicians and any other employee who reports directly to franchise.
Ensure proper communication between divisions
Review and address staffing and operational changes needed by divisions as necessary
Coordinate and discuss performance including financials and operational performance with all division managers
Implement and administer annual performance evaluations for all managers and office staff.
Provide assistance and oversight in regards to estimating in all diciplines
Will ensure Standard Operating procedures are followed for all divisions
Will develop workflows consistent with driving efficiencies and establishing a sense of urgency where needed.
Responsible for completion of bonus reports for all divisions on a monthly basis.
Assist in preparing commercial proposals for bid work on a T&M basis
Responsible for management of compliance with all SLA and PDRI Scorecard measurements
Recruit and onboard sub-contractor trades as needed for all divisions. This could include, but is not limited to; sub labor, dry cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, HVAC cleaning, industrial hygienists, general carpentry, plaster, finished flooring, roofing, etc.
Will implement the HASP (Health and Safety Plan) that has already been developed for MA operations.
Responsible for maintaining and developing vendor relationships
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or multiple years' experience in Construction Management, Business Management or related field
Five plus years' experience in a management role
Experience with reading and interpreting financial statements.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in restoration or construction field
Experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role
Experience with Restoration Management Software (RMS)
Sales experience
General Contractor's License
Leadership Development Trainings
IICRC certifications

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
