POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a senior UX researcher and product experience who is passionate, curious, and has a high level of empathy for users. You will help support the design and enhancement of accessible, innovative and inclusive digital experiences for entrepreneurs.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who discovers, interprets, and communicates user data and strategic opportunities in inspiring and compelling ways to co-create digital experiences based on trusted, robust data.

THE CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Participate in defining the vision of our digital products and services through a user-centric approach to guide strategic decisions and establish a common roadmap.


  • Lead the UX research practice through the different adapted methodologies: interviews, surveys, usability tests, card sorting, A/B testing, focus groups, heat maps, user journey mapping, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, guerrilla testing, co-creation workshops.


  • Translate user needs into business opportunities by transforming research data into actionable strategic recommendations to support and guide designers in the co-creation of digital solutions.


  • Establish a strong partnership between the design, product development and architecture team to ensure a common and coherent vision.


  • Lead Design Thinking, brainstorming and strategic planning workshops.


  • Provide thought leadership to circulate and promote user research knowledge and practices throughout the organization and help teams adopt a user-centric culture.


  • Builds relationships with other BDC research departments (CX, Market Intelligence, Economics, Voice of the Customer) to share research results and identify opportunities for collaboration.


  • Contribute to the Design System by ensuring that research informs decisions on the consistency and effectiveness of components.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in user experience research, with a proven ability to provide relevant advice on the development and improvement of digital products and services.


  • Degree in a field related to behavioral research (psychology, human-centered interactions, user experience design), or equivalent work experience.


  • Experience in setting up an organization-wide UX research program.


  • Outstanding communicator, share your analyses and observations with skill in order to present your recommendations


  • Experience with AI and new user interaction paradigms.


  • Knowledge of the banking or financial field, an asset.


More specifically:

  • Creative, in the way you think, solve problems and find solutions


  • Rigorous, you have good management of your priorities and you cultivate a passion for your job


  • Mastery of UX, analytics, and design research tools: User Testing, Maze, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Google Analytics, Figma, Miro, Confluence and other relevant tools to capture and analyze user behaviors.


  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
