We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ingenium-Radiance Analyst to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in insurance business processes and the Ingenium system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical and business acumen, excellent leadership abilities, a proven history of delivering high-quality software, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ingenium-Radiance Analyst to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in insurance business processes and the Ingenium system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical and business acumen, excellent leadership abilities, a proven history of delivering high-quality software, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrum Master Role: Act as a Scrum Master, demonstrating a strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices. Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), coach the development team on self-organization and cross-functionality, remove impediments, protect the team from distractions, and promote continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of software engineers, ensuring the development of high-quality software products and solutions.
- Project Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and career development planning for team members. Conduct performance evaluations to support professional growth.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in formulating and implementing the software engineering strategy. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions and design reviews to ensure sound software architecture and design.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance software development processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project timelines, resolving issues as they arise.
- Innovation and Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide leadership and direction to the software engineering team, including training and mentoring for the successful execution of projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 8 years in a similar software engineering role.
- Proven experience on projects related to RADIENCE, PATHFINDER, including implementation, upgrades, transformations, or enhancements.
- Practical knowledge of RADIENCE and PATHFINDER products and their functionality within business processes.
- Expertise in the complete RADIENCE and PATHFINDER product lifecycle (from inception to deployment and maintenance).
- Strong understanding of RADIENCE and PATHFINDER architecture with hands-on development experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business outcomes through modifications to RADIENCE, PATHFINDER, and integrated software applications.
- Expert-level experience with RADIENCE.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Functional-Level experience with PATHFINDER.
- Experience with Ingenium (working level) and ProductXpress (working level) is a plus.
- Familiarity with life insurance products, including whole life, term life, disability, universal life, wealth, and health products.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including project/team management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Strong proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and executing work, and providing timely solutions to challenges.
- Expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with strong debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, VSAM, REXX, CICS, MQ Series.
- Hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, and AIX OS platforms.
Additional Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or specialized training are a plus.
