Responsibilities:
- Lead capital projects from planning through installation, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.
- Develop and manage short- and long-term capital plans across enterprise locations.
- Oversee contractors and coordinate with suppliers to address technical and project-related challenges.
- Provide technical guidance for resolving process/packaging deviations and perform data analysis to support decisions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve layouts, investigate process inefficiencies, and implement cost-saving solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and support new product and process launches.
- Manage the RFP process, review vendor bids, and create detailed purchase orders for equipment and installation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean practices, and technology adoption to enhance operations.
- Travel up to 50% to support multi-site project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of project engineering experience
OR Associate's Degree with 5+ years of experience and PMP certification - Proven experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing or regulated environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Visio, Word)
- Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and process validation
- Experience with SAP, MES, and Lean manufacturing is highly preferred
- OSHA 10hr certification is a plus
