As a Product Engineering Physical Interface leader in the Compute Product Engineering organization, you will drive multi-functional teams to ensure our designs exceed electrical interface functionality and margin performance across the entire Compute product portfolio. You will be expected to build and effectively communicate both tactical and strategic plans. The planning and organization will encompass Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Test Solutions Engineering, Customer Enablement, Verification and other groups to make sure we have a coordinated plan to make sure our products are in a game they can win!

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop deep partnerships with Design, Verification, Product Architecture, Customer Enablement, and Silicon Strategy teams to deliver products effectively and efficiently.
- Establish department wide electrical performance goals as part of the larger leadership team.
- Partner with Design For Test (DFT) and Test Solutions Engineering to deliver best in class silicon trimming and settings for high performance at the lowest power.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement efforts for IO performance and power.
- Coordinate closely with Product Leadership Team to ensure performance is fully represented in overall product leadership approach, and strategies are aligned to delivering to the product objectives/timelines.
- Understand product support roadmaps and strategies to ensure your team can support all Compute designs.
- Allocate resources to meet timelines and work within the group.
- As a team leader you will provide coaching and career development, identify team strengths and weaknesses and create specific development plans with team members, conduct performance appraisals, provide recognition and drive accountability across the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant technical experience to include the following:
- Strong gate level design and analysis skills.
- Experience in high speed IO systems.
- Design, Verification or Product Engineering experience.
- Experience working with multi-functional teams across multiple sites a plus.
- Solid interpersonal skills and a track record as a strong collaborator.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical leadership experience preferred.
- Possess working knowledge of the way product yields impact revenue preferred.
- A record of performance excellence for current/previous areas of responsibility.
- Viewed by current team as a strong mentor and teammate.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside the department.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- People leadership experience a plus.
- Experience delegating tasks and setting priorities in a team environment a plus.
