We are seeking a versatile Sr. Program Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our software development planning and delivery cycles. This position requires an adaptable professional who thrives in ambiguous environments and can seamlessly transition between various responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical operations expertise and program management skills.

Key job responsibilities

*Work with cross-functional teams in delivering complex projects, adapting methodologies as needed

*Drive operational excellence by implementing and optimizing technical processes

*Manage change initiatives, guiding teams through transitions and new best practices

*Develop and maintain program strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

*Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive innovation

*Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

*Communicate project status, risks, and results to senior leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Waterfall) including strong technical background with hands-on experience in operational processes and tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
