Job Summary
Nature of Service: Request quotes from vendors, drawings, product catalogs. Three quotes are required from vendors for every project or using the CUPPCA quote system. Meet with vendors and walk the project site. Analyze quotes and meet with MVSD Maintenance Director for final awards. Submit drawings to DSA for approval; manage DSA online services and DIR online if required. Facilitate the Construction Management of the project, including following Davis-Bacon Act guidelines not limited, to interviewing workers on Davis-Bacon interview questions. Facilitate all inspections and remediate any outstanding findings. Work with the Los Angeles County Office of Education Head Start Division. Post construction management-close out all paperwork to the School District and the Los Angeles County Head Start Division. Required/Qualifications: Licensed Architect. Services Requested: Not to exceed 228hours per school year.
