Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience to oversee the implementation of complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing multiple parallel workstreams, liaising with subject matter experts, working with third-party vendors, and reviewing project documentation. This role requires proficiency in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management, and effective task coordination across various teams.

The Senior Project Manager will lead a large IT implementation project, managing the project from planning through execution while ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project management and the implementation of third-party vendor solutions.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to identify project impacts, dependencies, and ensure seamless project integration.
  • Facilitate project status meetings, capturing action items and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated project plan with clearly defined goals, milestones, and all SDLC aspects.
  • Perform impact analysis for any changes to the schedule or milestones and maintain issue logs.
  • Lead project planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders, identifying key tasks and milestones for implementation.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and internal SMEs to support project planning, testing, triage, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, conducting Go-Live readiness assessments as necessary.
  • Work with implementation leads to address project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Provide regular status updates to Senior IT and Business Management, articulating risks, obstacles, and timeline impacts.
  • May oversee and mentor business analysts assigned to the project.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including leading complex IT projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst is preferred.
  • Strong experience working with local, state, or federal government projects is a plus.
  • Experience with State-Based Marketplaces (SBMs) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office 365, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
