Under the general direction of a manager, the Sr. Engineer on the End User Computing team provides expert technical support to Inmar associates as outlined below. The incumbent is responsible for the design, implementation and support of all end-user endpoints, including software and the systems used
to access, deploy, and manage them. The incumbent will determine the best solutions for Inmar's business needs, help identify gaps and shortcomings in current setups, and determine the necessary path forward to create consistent and efficient systems. The incumbent will act as a model of customer service excellence to the End User Computing Team.

Office Environment
As a member of the End User Computing Office team you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and improvement of the enterprise-wide workstation user environment and experience. You will also be responsible for managing the enterprise-wide workstation tools such as Intune, PDQ, ManageEngine and Jamf.

Warehouse Environment
As a member of the End User Computing Warehouse team you will be responsible for the high-volume, centrally managed workstation hardware and software necessary to support the warehouse environment.

What You'll Do:
Technical (100%)
- Provide technical support for workstation devices (hardware, software and connectivity) through to resolution. In the Office environment, the devices are primarily desktop or laptop computers; in the Warehouse environment, the devices are primarily Winterms, scanners, radio-frequency guns, printers or other equipment to scan and record data from product lines.
- Centrally manage a workstation environment deploying packages using software management tools, such as Microsoft Intune.
- Participate in the building and maintenance of workstation images.
- Assist in the production and maintenance of workstation Active Directory Group Policy Objects to manage the workstation environment.
- Experience with creating, testing and software packages.
- Support IT groups as an End User Support escalation point.
- Understand the end user computing environment and provide guidance and
recommendations based on industry best practices for Endpoint Device Management, including software deployments, patch management, and OS deployments.
- Create and maintain automation opportunities using strong scripting ability (batch files, Install Script, PowerShell, etc.)
- Participate in strategy/roadmap creation, identify and recommend new technology solutions to meet business needs.

- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing accurate documentation steps for installation, maintenance and configuration activities.
- Provide 24 by 7 on-call support on a rotating basis with other team members, usually for a one-week period at a time.
- Lead in the successful execution of internal/team project activities, such as the implementation of a new tool.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor of Arts Degree in a related technical field
5+ years of work experience with computer hardware or software
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software, hardware & technology applications
Extensive Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 OS & Microsoft Office, Google Suite
Extensive Experience with macOS
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) concepts & management practices; experience with Azure AD a plus
Experience with Workstation Management Software, such as Microsoft Intune
Extensive in workstation Image creation & deployment
Extensive Proficiency in Patch and Vulnerability Management
Advanced knowledge of Scripting (batch files, Install Script, PowerShell, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities (Lenovo diagnostic tools, Apple Diagnostics, HP printer diagnostic tools, etc.)
Expert troubleshooting skills
Excellent client service skills, including both written and oral communication
Ability to work quickly and professionally in a fast-moving, sometimes-stressful environment
Proven accountability for work completion/documentation/timeliness
Availability to travel
