Working out of our Corporate Office in Louisville, KY
- Manage the administration of the HR policies and procedures and programs, as well as, carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, organizational development, labor relations, HRIS, recruiting and retention.
- Originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide a Stakeholder oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of the workforce.
How you Will make a difference
- Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR Policies & Procedures, Stakeholder Handbook, programs and practices in order to ensure regulatory compliance and maximize organizational effectiveness.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from Stakeholders and Managers regarding employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and potential discrimination complaints and escalate when necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate and execution of HR special events, including annual service pin ceremony, and segment HR trainings.
- Manage the integrity of the HRIS and provide a variety of complex reports with the highest level of accuracy.
- Support Managers in creating job descriptions for all Stakeholders.
- Develop tools to enhance the recruiting and retention efforts of our management teams. Be the Engagement Champion.
- Conduct coaching and counseling conversations to support performance management and employee development.
- Draft and serve as a witness during Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) meetings and performance-related discussions.
- Participate in departmental process improvement initiatives.
- Draft severance agreements and support leadership in severance conversations as a witness.
- Collaborate with the vendor to manage the Home Office FMLA process, ensuring compliance and timely communication with stakeholders.
- Initiate the ADA interactive process and partner with leadership to evaluate and implement reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Review and sign affidavits as required to support HR compliance and legal processes.
- Generate and process the annual EEO-1 Report to ensure accurate government compliance and reporting
What you Need to make a Difference
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent related work experience may be acceptable.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience or a combination of education and related experience.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
