We are searching for a Front End Developer whose primary function will be developing and maintaining websites and web applications that play a critical role with efficiencies and safe operation of transportation systems. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, industry-specific knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving.

Here's what you'll need:

• Build and maintain web dashboards both internal and customer-facing.
• Build and maintain React Native apps targeting both iOS and Android for mobile and tablet environments
• 3+ years of active Software Development as a Developer.
• Full life cycle software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience writing/working with modern JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML
• 2+ years of experience working and developing applications in modern JavaScript libraries such as React, React Native, and Angular.
• Experience working with jQuery
• A portfolio or live examples of code produced.
• Experience with GIT and familiarity with code versioning practices on large teams, i.e., branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, etc.
• Experience working with wireframing/design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to take approved designs and implement them into code.
• Strong understanding of web and browser technologies such as web sockets, service workers, LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and W3C manifests.
• Experience with consuming Web Services (GraphML, REST, XML Feeds, SOAP, etc).
• Self-starter, who demonstrates personal initiative.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude and willingness to help others.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees can be beneficial.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Prior experience in the transportation industry is highly beneficial.
