Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans, managing risks and issues, and ensuring the delivery of products on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and driving delivery disciplines within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project plans based on the Product Owner's roadmap and manage Kanban boards.
- Establish and drive delivery disciplines, cadence, and standards for the feature team.
- Manage and resolve issues and blockers, and identify and manage risks.
- Report on delivery status and ensure accuracy of information.
- Manage vendor relationships, including running RFPs and contract management.
- Control financial and resource forecasts and actuals to budget.
- Ensure the product is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Engage and align the wider organization to feature team needs, including governance, approvals, and dispensations.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership:
- Work with a product-focused team, including a Product Owner and Engineering Manager, to deliver continuous value.
- Define and prioritize changes to meet stakeholder demands.
- Manage change project activities, including stakeholder engagement, change adoption, and progress reporting.
- Plan and support labor relations and employee relations discussions as necessary.
Required Skill
- Expertise in change management and project management.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and managing sprint-based deliveries.
- Proficiency in change management methods and tools.
- Understanding of Change Management roles, responsibilities, and value-add.
- Strong influencing and networking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to apply practical solutions to business-critical problems.
- Understanding of the interface between business needs and the legal and regulatory environment.
- Ability to juggle priorities, multi-task, and execute at speed.
- Sound commercial judgment and understanding of the Financial Services Industry.
- Compliance with Strategic Change Execution Board Standard, Group Change Governance framework, and Group-mandated Business Change methods, standards, and tools
