Description:

BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for monitoring and maximizing the yield performance of sailings. Utilize expertise to provide insights and guidance to senior leadership. Strategize and make pricing recommendations in order to achieve Regent's annual revenue goals.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct comprehensive data analysis of booking activities to inform strategies for maximizing revenue.

Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and pricing strategies that align with booking targets and promotional initiatives, incorporating insights from upper management, data analytics, and market trends.

Monitor the performance of promotions, sales initiatives, and tactical offers. Summarize results for presentations to management, including senior executives, and provide strategic recommendations for new promotional activities as well as enhancements to existing campaigns based on performance analytics.

Lead a team in executing pricing activities, which include input analysis, competitive benchmarking, and sailing trend performance assessment.

Continuously refine pricing models and files to enhance efficiency and accuracy; regularly update models in response to management directives.

Stay informed on current and emerging developments within the reservation system, as well as relevant company products, policies, and procedures related to booking and reservations.

Organize, plan, control, and execute individual projects and assignments, ensuring presentation-ready results for senior management.

Collaborate effectively and professionally with various departments, including Sales and Marketing teams.

Perform additional job-related functions as assigned to support overall business objectives.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years' experience in business operations and data analytics/reporting. Knowledge of travel industry and/or revenue management/pricing preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High motivation to learn and ability to grasp new concepts quickly. Must have excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and collaborative skills. Must be detail oriented, and possess excellent decision-making abilities under uncertainty and pressure. Excellent working knowledge of data querying tools. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills to create complex formulas, scenarios and pivot tables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and present strategic and marketing recommendations to upper management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Must work well under pressure, and with limited direction and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a team based environment and assist other team members as necessary. Strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with travel/cruise industry and reservation/revenue management systems is preferred.
