Position Overview

Chief Operating Officer is responsible for developing processes to enhance operational, technical, and data quality standards, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

This Position Is Responsible For

  • Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on business process effectiveness and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Developing strategies to meet budgetary and operational needs, optimizing processes, reducing costs, and identifying suitable vendors.
  • Establishing business strategies in alignment with management and business users, recommending IT solutions based on business requirements, and leading technology RFIs.
  • Serving as the technical lead for IT strategy, ensuring stakeholder alignment and support, and overseeing corporate IT project management.
  • Implementing legal and compliance practices in corporate governance through compliance framework rollout and monitoring.
  • Directing non-claims legal activities, including law firm selection and management.
  • Overseeing corporate governance responsibilities, acting as Corporate Secretary where applicable.


Experience And Skill Requirements

  • U.S. Master's degree in Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
  • 36 months of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience managing business operations within the multinational property and casualty insurance industry, including overseeing a complex global network.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including Operations, IT, and Legal.
  • Experience building and maintaining international business relationships.
  • Experience drawing actionable insights and developing recommendations from large, complex data sets.
