CFO

CFO - local Tucson accounting firm is searching for an experienced CFO to help lead the team, and support client interactions. If you are an experienced CFO looking for a challenging role in a fast paced and growing company, please apply.

Pay Range: $38-$48 per hour, 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• CFO consultant to our clients
• Verify that staff comply with state and federal laws and company's policies
• Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Provide the finance and accounting functions with strategic management
• Train and retain accounting and finance staff
• Own process improvement for the integrity of a company's financial information
• Analyze if cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with investment institutions and investors
• Recognize and manage insurance requirements and business risks
• Handle all relationships with vendors
• Oversee independent auditor relationships
• Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance in a leadership role
• Must have Bachelor's degree prefer CPA, MBA, CFE, or CMA

• Experience with auditing in non-profits is a plus
• Public accounting experience a plus

• Strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills,
• Work with the CEO, board members and other senior executives
• A combination of industry and public accounting experience is preferred
