Position Summary:

The Director-Sodexo & Aramark is responsible for managing the entire MEC portfolio for two of the "Big 3" Non-Commercial Foodservice customers, Sodexo and Aramark. This position requires the candidate to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across internal and external departments with a key sense of urgency. Internally, this involves connectivity with Shopper Marketing, MEC BU FSOP teams, RGM/Finance teams, and NPD teams. Externally, collaboration with key customer department leads, KO bottlers and CCNA sales teams is essential for effectively progressing the business within both customers. The Director-Sodexo & Aramark must be the subject matter expert for the Energy Drink Category for both the customer and CCNA. This individual will be the strategic sales leader accountable for setting and driving the energy brand agenda, in alignment with company pillars, across both customers. They will work closely with the Coca-Cola Account Teams and KO Bottling system, as well as the MEC BU teams to achieve set goals. Key responsibilities include increasing MEC's business through SKU expansion (core and innovation) timely, lead cold equipment placement initiatives, develop and execute customer marketing programs (National and Custom), and execution of mutually agreed on innovation launches. The Director is also responsible for accurately managing the respective CFPs for each customer, ensuring that spend per case and revenue per case are managed properly to drive positive trends across both measurements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Play a critical role in establishing and building out overall customer objectives across multiple levels of connectivity, taking full ownership of the programs, process, and plans. Identify and prioritize sales opportunities with both Sodexo and Aramark, demonstrating a keen sense of urgency in addressing and capitalizing on potential growth areas.
  • Successfully roll out and communicate new business opportunities across the MEC organization, ensuring prompt and effective dissemination of information. Regularly share executional opportunities with key stakeholders across the BUs and KO bottlers to ensure alignment and timely implementation.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with all key stakeholders, including CCNA customer leadership and supporting teams, MEC FSOP BU leaders, MEC regional managers, and KO Bottler teams, taking complete ownership of these connections.
  • Effectively manage and update the Sodexo and Aramark account universe and wiring for accurate and timely distribution of programming support, ensuring no delays in communication and execution.
  • Align on and secure the distribution of key MEC innovation SKUs across both customers, supported by customer programs within agreed programming windows, with a focus on expedited execution.
  • Collaborate with the Shopper Marketing team to build national and regional programs that support key initiatives aligned with customer decision-makers, driving timely and impactful execution. Collaborate with urgency across all four MEC BUs to deliver strategic direction and plans designed to promptly close distribution gaps for Core SKUs.
  • Develop, track, and align on executional goals for the CDM teams working with the Sodexo and Aramark business, ensuring timely progress and adjustments as needed. Establish annual distribution and volume targets for both customers, managing the business with a sense of urgency to achieve these mutually aligned on goals.
  • Continually improve the business through analytics, utilizing reporting tools such as Nielsen data, Power BI, VIP, and CFP, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Create and present fact-based presentations to key stakeholders, effectively supporting the sell-in of business opportunities with a focus on immediate action and results. Manage and execute against the company's overall key objectives, maintaining a strong sense of urgency and total ownership over results.


Position Requirements:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business, Marketing, Finance or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in retail sales
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, POS and inventory reports.


Base Salary Range: $112,500 - $150,000
