The target hiring range for this position is $96,000-$108,000 annually.
Position Summary:
The Manager, Public Relations will be responsible for garnering earned media and managing paid media opportunities in their region. The incumbent will manage a regional team of PR specialists, and work closely with a content creator to develop and pitch stories to regional media, and will build relationships to assist in finding learner, alumni, faculty, and corporate stories to place in appropriate regional media. The Manager, PR will be responsible for tracking media coverage for the region, tracking media coverage of key topics in the region, and reporting quarterly on outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities:
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.

The Manager, PR will be responsible for tracking media coverage for the region, tracking media coverage of key topics in the region, and reporting quarterly on outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with team specialists to develop knowledge/understanding of their region.
- Maintain continuous review of key health care and nursing topics in the region, and find the right stories to address these key topics.
- Maintain coverage report on NEG outcomes, as well as coverage of competitors in the region.
- Produce 1 - 3 pieces of earned and/or paid media coverage in each territory per quarter.
- Produce quarterly report on media coverage.
- Train and uplevel skill set of PR specialists; provide ongoing input and coaching to team.
- Bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or related field, a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated ten years' experience in PR, media relations outreach with successful placement results.
- Previous leadership experience in both/or agency and corporate settings.
- Demonstrated ability to find and develop organizational stories for media outreach.
- Demonstrated ten years of experience in team management.
- Excellence in written and oral communications skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
