Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) has an exciting position open as a Senior Accountant supporting the Integrated Logistics team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help manage the overall business financial performance for two PSLD business units. This position interacts with and presents to division leadership as well as interacts with many internal customers within Caterpillar as a service provider.
This role will lead and participate in all forecasting cycles, actual reporting, and corporate/segment requests. This role will have the unique opportunity to lead the ILS business through the new enterprise ERP system implementation. The best candidate will have the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, execute change management, effective communication, and a customer-oriented mindset.

What You Will Do:
- Manage all aspects of accountable analysis, insights, and reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for the PSLD Logistics organization.
- Lead monthly business report, analysis, forecast and insights. Present and effectively communicate results to leadership.
- Establish forecast and monthly closing deadlines to ensure deliverables are met for business unit and division reporting.
- Produce standardized reporting and serve as liaison between the business and Corporate/Segment/Division FP&A deliverables.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, and support initiatives towards profitable services growth.
- Focus on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.
- Drive improvements and efficiencies in financial analysis and reporting processes in alignment of our Global Finance Strategy.
Desired Skills:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Familiarity with Axiom, PowerBI, and/or OneStream
- Previous experience in FP&A and consolidations
