Description:

Develop and implement operational and maintenance procedures for electronic equipment and systems. Perform manufacturing process control, sampling optimization, data analysis and interpretations, including Epitaxial Silicon Equipment set (AMAT/ASM) and process control (SPC and FDC). Identify and reduce sources of semiconductor production variation. Engineer availability and performance of key tools, including TEL FSI Spray cleaning tool, Spray Solvent Tools, Spray Acid Tools, and Spin Rinse Dry Tools. Improve tool reliability and availability and improve process monitoring and sensor capabilities. Apply Six Sigma statistical process control methods and sampling optimization. Apply semiconductor engineering concepts towards reducing cost of ownership and support development activities. Responsible for Process/Equipment/Productivity Improvements, cost reductions and Maintenance procedure/specification updates. Document and train on new ways to expedite maintenance activities. Complete evaluations on the content of the maintenance activities and review ways to improve efficiency. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, schematics, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required. Resolve equipment problems to maximize uptime throughput and process yield.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

Six (6) months of experience in the job offered, Engineering Technician or similar occupations.

Required skills:

Position requires requires six (6) months of experience in:

  • CVD/Diffusion/EPI/Wets tool troubleshooting;
  • Design and implement electro-mechanical systems;
  • Semiconductor industry technical writing,
  • Programming language; and
  • Troubleshooting and testing on AMAT equipment such as ENDURA or CENTURA platform.
