The Nurse Manager is accountable for the 24/7 leadership of the Medical and Surgical ICU units. This role oversees clinical operations, staff management, and fiscal performance to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, aligning departmental goals with organizational mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Knowledge of healthcare and nursing management practices that are normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's of Nursing degree. Master's Degree preferred.
Licensure: RN Indiana license.
Experience: Three or more years' experience in related clinical area. Demonstrated leadership and management abilities. The following leadership qualities are desired: Accountability, change management, coaching, drive for improvement, integrity/valuing diversity, integration of mission and core values, patient focus, physician relations, and teamwork;

Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages all aspects of unit operations, including staffing, patient care, quality, safety, and budget performance.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment.
- Recruits, develops, and retains competent staff; provides coaching, performance management, and ongoing education.
- Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and provider satisfaction.
- Drives patient experience and service excellence initiatives; monitors feedback and implements improvements.
- Leads change, innovation, and performance improvement projects to optimize care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Maintains accurate documentation and oversees billing compliance and revenue integrity as applicable.
- Demonstrates and models organizational mission, integrity, and core values in all decision-making and interactions.
