The Critical Care RN will work night shift in a well-established regional medical center that is part of a respected not-for-profit health system and includes a dedicated heart and vascular hospital. The Cardiovascular Critical Care Registered Nurse will report to the Nurse Manager of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and fellow critical care nurses. The role works in concert with case management and procedural departments to ensure optimal outcomes across the patient continuum.
The RN will support a Cardiovascular ICU specializing in the care of adult patients recovering from non-surgical cardiac interventions, myocardial infarctions, unstable angina, and other acute cardiac conditions. Staffed with experienced clinicians and highly skilled techs, the unit maintains a dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering specialized, round-the-clock critical care.The Cardiovascular Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for continuous monitoring, medication management, patient education, and rapid response to changes in condition. The nurse supports the unit's mission through collaboration, quality improvement initiatives, and commitment to ongoing clinical development.
