The Role

The Sr. Manager, Content Strategy supports the development of an integrated content strategy to engage Amperity target personas. Working alongside internal and external collaborators, you will help plan and execute content initiatives that align with our overall marketing strategy. You'll collaborate with creative and editorial resources to create content that brings to life our brand narratives, with a focus on generating qualified leads for the sales team. Your responsibilities include developing and managing content assets that resonate across earned, owned, and paid platforms to increase awareness, drive education, and support consideration throughout the buyer's journey.

Content Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, audience needs, and industry trends
  • Lead and mentor a team of content producers/writers while managing relationships with creative agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product marketing, growth marketing, and sales to ensure content alignment
  • Establish content governance frameworks, style guides, and best practices to maintain brand consistency

Content Creation & Production
  • Oversee the production of diverse content types including white papers, case studies, blog posts, videos, podcasts, and webinars.
  • Create scalable content frameworks that allow for efficient repurposing across multiple channels and formats
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, technically accurate, and optimized for engagement and conversion
  • Implement editorial calendars and workflows to manage content production effectively

Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate content effectiveness
  • Analyze content performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve strategy
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Test and iterate on content approaches based on data-driven insights
Qualifications

Required Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in enterprise SaaS or martech environments
  • 5 + years successfully leading strong, effective teams
  • Proven track record developing successful content strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Experience managing and mentoring content teams and external agencies
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills

Nice to have
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) content strategies
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, design tools and content personalization techniques
  • Experience with interactive content and emerging formats
  • Familiarity with AI content creation tools and technologies
  • Experience creating technical content for developer audiences
Location

Seattle, WA or New York, NY

We have a hybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three days in the office days each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
Compensation

Base Salary: $130,000 - $180,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity's total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
