We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Engineering Project Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, oversee all aspects of engineering projects, and ensure the successful development of new convenience stores across your assigned market.
About the Role:
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of Engineering Project Analysts and/or Project Managers, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
- Project Oversight: Manage individual projects, ensuring efficient workflow, addressing complex challenges, and staying informed about evolving entitlement and permitting processes.
- Risk Management: Evaluate, mitigate, and isolate risks associated with the pre-development process.
- Design & Development: Provide expert guidance on the design, development, and permitting of new convenience store construction projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with the executive team, coordinate with consultants, and build strong relationships with local government agencies.
- Technical Expertise: Conduct advanced research, resolve complex technical issues, and recommend design alterations to improve quality and efficiency.
- A Proven Leader: You have a proven track record of success in project management and team leadership.
- Industry Experience: You have 3-5 years of relevant experience, with prior experience in the petroleum industry a significant plus.
- A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making, and public presentation skills.
- Technically Proficient: You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Lead and supervise Engineering Project Analysts and/or Project Managers.
- Ensure adherence to company protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with consultants and other stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress to the executive team.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local government agencies.
- Resolve complex technical issues and conduct advanced research.
- Recommend design alterations to improve project outcomes.
- Select and manage consultants on design/entitlement teams.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 60% travel may be required.
- Pay Range: $116,000.00 - $174,000.00 depending on prior experience
