As we continue to innovate and expand our reach, we're seeking an experienced People leader to drive our HR and talent objectives across the organization.
Position Overview

Reporting to the CFO, you will be a key member of company leadership, instrumental to developing and executing a people strategy aligned to the company's business goals during a critical period of growth. The Director will initially roll up their sleeves to build out, implement, and execute scalable processes across the People function while fostering a dynamic and performance-driven culture during the next phase of company expansion in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
Initial Responsibilities
Human Resources and People Operations
  • Develop and own employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Implement and execute best practice processes for compensation planning, benefits programs, and employee relations in collaboration with executive leadership and founders
  • Create and maintain HR policies, compliance, and standard operating procedures (employee handbook, recruiting process, etc.)
  • Lead day-to-day HR operations and streamline payroll, benefits, and employee records management
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating locations
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to executives on people-related issues and other managers to enhance leadership skills and people management capabilities
Recruiting and Talent
  • Develop and oversee the full-cycle recruiting strategy and process to attract top-tier talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure efficient hiring processes
  • Implement and refine structured interview processes and candidate evaluation frameworks
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from application to onboarding
  • Manage external recruiting agencies and internal tools and systems
  • Oversee and improve performance management processes, including goals, feedback, and reviews
  • Develop and execute learning and development programs
Culture and Employee Engagement
  • Drive our performance-driven culture strategies and initiatives, engagement programs, and employee recognition
  • Drive corporate communications and announcements, including internal team meetings, company-wide events, retreats, and team gatherings
  • Partner with company leaders to align our people strategy to progressing the strategic and operational roadmaps, priority company initiatives, and special projects
  • Quickly develop and nurture positive working relationships with department leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Support oversight of EA and office management functions ensuring seamless support to executives and a productive work environment
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience across all HR disciplines
  • 4+ years within early-stage, fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Experience in technology, digital and social media, and/or sports industries preferred
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of the sports industry landscape a plus
  • MBA a plus
  • Hands on HR management, with a willingness to roll up sleeves to design, implement, and execute basic operational HR processes
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives managing several projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Enjoys taking an analytical approach to people initiatives, including analyzing and drawing insights from available data sets
  • Transparent and effective oral and written communicator; comfortable communicating both concisely with executive audiences and in-detail with tactical audiences
  • Interacts well with internal colleagues at all levels and across all business functions
  • Results-oriented, gritty, resourceful, and organized team player with the highest of ethical standards
  • Location: This position is located onsite at the Dude Perfect HQ in Frisco, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex)
