Northwest Health is seeking a program director for our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. We welcome six residents per year into our comprehensive program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical education and training residents combined with a strong focus and commitment to ensuring patient care remains a priority.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical.
- Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education is maintained
- Establish strategic direction of the program, its standards, quality, and reputation of the Family Medicine Residency program as followed by faculty and residents.
- Residency program practice management, overall residency operations, and resident oversight.
- Program recruitment, interviews, and selection of residents.
- Recruit and oversee faculty and clinical rotations
- Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine, consistent with ACGME guidelines.
- Teach residents t hrough clinical and didactic work.
Requirements:
- Documented educational and/or administrative experience required
- Board certified in Family Medicine
- Clinically practicing physician
- Experience in graduate medical education required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to effectively deal with a broad range of people and personalities.
