We are seeking an experienced IT Project Technology Lead to join our Services Technology team in Tampa. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the Core Banking Transformation program across LATAM in support of our global Treasury and Trade Solutions business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration within the financial services industry. This role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers/vendors. We are seeking candidates who can manage complex deliverables/project plans while working in a dynamic and changing environment. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.

Responsibilities:
Governance:
- Lead the implementation of robust project governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Develops & maintains detailed IT work plans, schedules, charters, roadmaps; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Monitor project performance and compliance through regular audits, reviews, and checkpoints.
Program & Project Delivery:
- Ensures program adheres to Citi PM Policy and Standards for process, tools and quality assurance, while driving consistency of deliverables and artifacts.
- Collaborates with knowledgeable and demanding stakeholders to establish project plans for major initiatives and helps drive efforts to a successful conclusion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA, to ensure cohesive and coordinated project execution.
- Prioritizes workload based on criticality. Able to take on assignments and execute them independently with minimum oversight. Exhibits a problem-solving mentality; can anticipate risks and issues that may impact a program/project.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
- Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in treasury and trade solutions, providing recommendations to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
- Apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to optimize project delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
- Interfaces with senior project staff and product senior management teams regarding status of projects.
- Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
- Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Technical Leadership:
- Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
- Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership. Understands & interprets complex Architecture & Data frameworks.
- Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts; allocates work.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects, including governance and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
- PMP or Scrum/Agile certification is a plus.
- English and Spanish bilingual highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience (potentially Masters degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
