Electrical Engineer/Lead

Job Description

Selectek is looking for an Electrical Engineer with PE a background in Electrical and Instrumentation Design

Required:

• Provide leadership, for E&I Design Group
• Work in multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality designs within budget and timelines
• Provide electrical system solutions to ensure successful projects
• Develop project documentation and drawings design packages, including: - Power System One-Lines
• Participate in process, equipment, and control design reviews
• Provide project startup support, as needed

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution
• Minimum 7 years in electrical design for construction in industrial facilities
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Knowledge of - Electrical Constructions Standards (National Electrical Code)
• Power Equipment Design (Switchgear, Switchboards, Transformers)
• Power System Models and Studies using commercial software (ETAP, SKM, etc.)
• Commercial and Industrial MEP Design
• Motor Controls and VFDs
• Arc Flash Energy Reduction
• Travel amounting to 15 - 25% of time, intermittently

Our ideal candidate would lead our E&I group, providing initial guidance to our project managers to define the electrical scope for projects and then working with the E&I group to develop bid/construction packages for our clients.

Salary $100k-$140k + excellent benefits, bonus
