The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Job Inputs:
Establishes project objectives, deliverables, and requirements pursuant to current departmental strategic efficiencies.
Assigns tasks, provides guidance, and supports team members.
Continues to enhance the new Holman legal operating model, including through refinement of departmental processes, development of metrics, and implementation of new technology tools.
Delivers quality service on time to drive value for business.
Identifies, assesses, and mitigates potential risks.
Assists in the development of future transformation projects.
Manages, reviews, and maintains all contract forms and agreements within the Legal department.
Assists the Contract Manager in contract negotiations. Takes lead in negotiating standard contracts and amendments.
Provides leadership, development, oversight, and guidance to Contract Analyst(s).
Drafts, reviews, negotiates (as described above), finalizes and distributes contracts and amendments for clients and suppliers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Ensures each new contract or contract change is credit approved and matches approved profit and loss statement.
Provides sample agreements as requested and for bid response purposes.
Logs and tracks status of all prepared documentation.
Negotiates contract changes requested by clients and suppliers.
Prepares special reports and facilitates projects as necessary.
Scans all contracts and back-up into imaging system and forwards to applicable departments.
Prepares notifications of signed agreements.
Provides feedback on contract questions to internal and external customers.
Adds banking information for new lessee code set-ups.
Trains new personnel (sales, sales support and client relations) on contract processes and procedures.

Education and/or Training:
Bachelor's degree is required (BA or BS).
Additional education, certifications (including paralegal certification), or other distinctions are a plus
Must have strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Working knowledge of Nitro Pro, document comparison software (such as Litera Compare), and Transperfect a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Must be organized, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Relevant Work Experience:
3+ years' experience on hands-on commercial contract functions in a corporate legal department.
Demonstrated ability to multitask while delivering quality and timely product in a fast-paced, sales-oriented, and deadline-driven environment.
Prior experience in a legal environment a plus.
Demonstrated ability to draft contractual terms and documents.
Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Must have solid understanding of or ability to learn Holman systems.
Experience in contract negotiation is preferred.

Outputs:
Responsible for generating and negotiating contracts with Holman's clients in North America and Mexico.
Responsible for managing the contract department staff and ensuring that work is completely timely with minimal errors.
Responsible for follow-up of outstanding contracts to ensure end-to-end completion of agreements.
Responsible for assisting sales force and sales support with contractual inquiries.
Responsible for ensuring that all contract requests have received credit approval and that the requested contractual pricing has been approved by Holman's senior level executives.
Responsible for training of sales force and sales support on contract processes.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $81,210.00 - $117,760.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
