Paint Process Engineer

Job Description

Paint Process Engineer needed in Ft. Payne, AL. Direct hire.
Salary Range $100k-$125K
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and training for Robot Attendants
• Set schedules/rotations for Robot Attendants
• Assists in process training
• Ensures inspections for each part style are completed
• Over sees production runs
• Responsible for assuring quality of parts and processes in area
• Responsible for continuous improvement/cost down project
• Responsible to establish specs for IM auxiliary equipment
• Responsible for setting process parameters for all tools
• Implement product/process improvement through changes
• Monitor robots and fluid delivery equipment for process consistency, and quality product output
• Responsible for Programming new launch products
• Other tryout and production related duties as required
• Ensure all Health and Safety and Process Procedures are followed within department.
• Follow all Organizational codes, values, policies, practices, procedures and instructions in the areas of quality, environmental health & safety, security and business operations
• Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times
• Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained
• Ensure that sufficient resources are available for each department including training, safety requirements, personnel, work instructions, procedures, and related tools
• Assist in any way to any employee, necessary to promote a successful operation emphasizing customer satisfaction
• Ensure that all employees receive proper training and understand all job tasks

Required:

• Must have at least a minimum one (1) year Paint Process and three (3) years Robot Attendant experience demonstrated level of knowledge, skill and ability as a Robot Attendant,. Experience with ABB and/ or Fanuc Robotics.
