Electrical Designer

Job Description

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Designer capable of developing power and lighting sheets, performing standard calculations, and understanding project requirements.

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Architectural/Electrical Engineering or 2-5 years industry experience.
• Working experience with California codes and standards preferred.
• Proficient use of Autodesk Revit and CAD.
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project criteria and requirements.
• Coordination and collaboration with trade partners and team members.
• Electrical design including but not limited to power distribution, branch power, branch lighting, lighting controls (commercial construction).
• Provide supporting calculations for designs (under the guidance of an Electrical Engineer)
• Prepare Title 24 compliance forms.
• Preparing construction documents.

Pay Range: $55.23/hour - $74.52/hour ($115,000 - $155,000 annual salary)
Pay method when direct: Salary
Term of assignment: 6 month contract to direct
Location of Job: Vacaville, CA
WFH: possible down the road
Remote: No
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm
Overtime: Some on occasion
Travel: None
Work Attire: Business casual
