Description:

Perform quality assurance architecture engineering duties in furtherance of research, design, development, and manufacturing for content development of the company's legacy BLE Features and new BLE Features. Specifically enhance test plans for feature functionality, performance, protocol conformance, traffic, stress, stability, and IoP and certifications. Responsible for test plan generation for various Bluetooth/ LE / customer specific features including older and latest (BT 5.4) features, profiles, and coexistence. Based on reviews of technical content from QA side and test case content, responsible for making user level scenario combinations along with functional feature tests for different new LE Features, LE Audio etc. Independently analyze and review field issues and define recommend areas and gaps for coverage with analysis driven and overall coverage improvement plan. Provide feedback into dev teams on general changes required for improved product focusing on quickly found issues first from customers. Guide Test Team for any technical support WRT feature, New Test plan for any new project and BT-BLE Test plan development. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or closely related field.

Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, Manager SQA, SQA Engineer, or related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires five (5) years of experience in:

  • Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) Feature from Legacy to latest BT5.4;
  • qtest, Jira and other tools used for QA process tracking;
  • Ellisys Sniffer, Frontline Test System (FTS) Sniffers (Air sniffer and UART sniffer);
  • Logic Analyzer;
  • Digital oscilloscope;
  • Scripting in Perl;
  • Near Field Communication (NFC);
  • BT-Wi-Fi Co-existence Post silicon logic debug; and
  • SW hooks development for debug purposes.


Offered salary: $194,875 per year

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:
$153,400 to $210,900 annually
