The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's Salesforce environment to support business operations and strategic initiatives. This role involves configuring and maintaining Salesforce, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end users across multiple departments. A solid technical background in Salesforce administration, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of business processes to drive efficiency and scalability are essential.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the organization's Salesforce environment.
- Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings.
- Develop and implement automation solutions using Flow.
- Perform data management tasks including imports, exports, merges, and validation to maintain data accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and manage reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, providing support to users and resolving technical problems.
- Keep Salesforce Administrator certification up to date and stay informed on new features from releases.
- Assist in testing and deploying Salesforce updates, including seasonal releases and enhancements.
- Document system configurations, processes, governance, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing, compliance, and continuity.
- Develop and maintain training documentation to support user education and adoption.
- Support training and onboarding of new users, ensuring adoption and best practices across the organization.
- Provide clear and effective communication to users at all levels, ensuring they understand system changes and functionalities.
- Proactively identify and solve problems to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) required.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, standard objects, and automation tools.
- Experience with data management, reporting, and analytics within Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Proven ability to train and support users across various experience levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail in system administration, data integrity, and process documentation.
- Ability to create and maintain system and training documentation.
- Proficient in Excel, with the ability to use formulas for data mapping and performing bulk imports to Salesforce.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience working in third-party applications integrated with Salesforce, such as Conga, HubSpot, Certinia, or Asana, is a plus.
- Experience implementing and configuring third-party integrations with Salesforce, including data synchronization and automation, is a plus.
