Technical Superintendent Description
This job role is responsible for managing the shoreside marine operations and ensuring sale and effective work.

• Lead vessel crews in the right direction to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations
• Oversee the maintenance and repair needs and the budget that goes along with the repairs
• Properly use the maintenance software
• Act as the focal point for Class, terminals, and states
• Ensure the crew onboard is aware that prevention of illness and injury is a main concern in all operational work
• Locate operating problems and find solutions to put in place
• Travel to other vessels to confirm compliance with company standards
• Oversee all deck maintenance

Technical Superintendent Qualifications

• Maritime Academy graduate
• USCG
• Unlimited 3 rd Engineer's license
• Previous dry-dock of major repair supervisory experience
• Must have knowledge of safety, security, maintenance, and quality and environmental modules
