AMSG is seeking a Contract Lead with Nuclear Export Controls subject matter expertise to support the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Nonproliferation and Arms Control (N-24).

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Level Q clearance with DOE

Job Type: Full Time, onsite, and contingent upon contract award

Education: A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science is required; a Master of Arts is strongly preferred

Years of Experience: 10

Contract Lead, Nuclear Export Controls: A minimum of 10 years of experience with an emphasis on nonproliferation and nuclear arms control efforts. PMP Certification strongly preferred. Must demonstrate a strong background in international relations and experience with export controls in an international context.

Responsibilities:

The Contract Lead, Nuclear Export Controls will:
  • Provide budgetary and strategic program management support for the International Nonproliferation Export Control Program (INECP).
  • Assist in managing the following portfolios to support the export control mission to strengthen international efforts to prevent the spread of WMD-related goods, technology, and commodities: Support Ukraine Program; Implementation Working Group
  • Assist in managing eRoom / Valinor, the SCORE program, and the Export Control Fellows Program
  • Assist in managing and coordinating the program's budgetary work, including obligating monies to the field, establishing fund sites and travel allocations, and managing the budget on the G2 budget management system.

Other requirements:
  • Ability to interact daily with the N-24 customer and NNSA organizations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including multi-tasking and prioritizing requirements;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Background in nonproliferation and arms control;
  • Former Action Officer at DOE with knowledge of NNSA/ONAC is a definite plus.
  • May include travel requirements in support of the contract ~20%.
