Department Overview
Enterprise Business & Technology Modernization is a cross-functional organization leading PG&E's Propel program, a major business and technology modernization initiative designed to unlock customer value by simplifying collaborative work processes. Propel will migrate PG&E to the new version of SAP, S/4HANA, presenting a unique opportunity for PG&E to standardize business processes, clean the technology core, and enable innovation for breakthrough change across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Through a phased approach, Propel will implement process standardization, operating model changes, data improvements, SAP, and other technology applications with a focus on incrementally improving business capabilities and delivering value.

The team partners closely with IT and external partners to work collaboratively with many stakeholders to adopt standard processes and maximize the use of out-of-the-box proven technology solutions to meet business needs. Position Summary
The Expert Supply Chain Business Project Manager will play a pivotal role in PG&E's Propel program, leading the implementation of key supply chain initiatives as part of our broader business and technology modernization efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, project management expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of supply chain solutions, ensuring alignment with Propel's goals of standardizing business processes, enhancing data quality, and enabling technological innovation.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland or based on business needs.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of supply chain initiatives as part of the Propel program.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure alignment between supply chain initiatives and Propel's overall objectives of process standardization and technological innovation.
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to implement SAP S/4HANA and other technology solutions.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within the supply chain function.
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
- Ensure compliance with industry-leading practices and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with PG&E processes or previously worked for PG&E
- Master's degree in business administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in the utilities or energy industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
